Amber is one of the world’s oldest and most coveted treasures, a “Gold of the Sea” intrinsically formed by light and life, preserved by time and washed upon the shores for humanity, a talisman of beauty, protection and renewal. It has been portrayed as drops of the sun, tears of the gods, hardened honey, and sunlight solidified, and is as desired today as it was in the most ancient cultures, utilized as far back as the Stone Age for its pleasing warmth of color, value in adornment, and its magical and medicinal properties.
A fragrance of singular power and depth. Amber is inspired by those golden, light-filled stones formed from the resin of ancient trees. Its succulent Blood Orange top note streams like the sun’s rays through notes of Labdanum, Tunisian Amber and Musk. This fragrance is itself an emboldening yet profoundly calming talisman.
A GLOWING REVIEW:
"I sampled the oil, which lasts forever & you only need a little. This is a warm, sweet amber. No dryness or powder here. First on, it's amber with a strong woodiness; I don't get much of the orange, maybe it's just blended in well - probably some of the sweetness. After a couple of hours, it gets sweeter and much spicier. Somewhere in there is just the faintest sour note. Definitely unisex. Nice fragrance. Worth the price. It is a nice amber and long-lasting - great if you don't have a lot of other ambers (especially oils.)"- Carnelian

A FRAGRANCE TESTIMONY:
"I keep a tightly sealed dark blue glass jar with a chunk of pure unadulterated Amber from a chemists' supply. On moments when I need a smile, I reach for that jar and get a whiff of the Real Deal. Of all the other Amber frags out there, only Sage Machado captures so perfectly that single exquisite note. And unlike a lump in a jar - I can actually *wear* Sage Machado Amber. Yes, there are supporting notes - gentle traces of blonde wood and faint hints of orange rind, but Ms. Machado has so perfectly subdued them, letting the star ingredient do what it does best: shine. glow. burnish." - Z.
